Dans le cadre d’une campagne contre le 3éme mandat en Afrique. Le préfet de Dakar a notifié à Alioune Tine que le concert ne sera pas autorisé. Le rappeur Dj Awadi en compagnie des artistes africain devaient se produire ce samedi dans un hôtel de la place. Le préfet de Dakar a brandi un papier pour signaler que ce concert « risque de troubles à l’ordre public et d’accidents ». Selon le préfet, le site l’hôtel Radisson bleue ne présente pas toutes les garanties de sécurité pour une manifestation d’une telle dimension.
« Demain devait avoir lieu le Grand concert panafricain pour la limitation des mandats. N’ayant pas reçu l’aval de la préfecture de Dakar, c’est avec grand regret que nous vous annonçons l’annulation de ce concert », a communiqué la cellule d’organisation
Avant de poursuivre par : « Notre campagne ne s’arrête pas là ! les onze artistes africains qui sont engagés dans cette campagne sont déterminés que jamais dans leur combat et vont vous présenter dans les semaines qui viennent une chanson célébrant la démocratie, la bonne gouvernance et la limitation des mandats en Afrique », pestent les organisateurs.
