Le 9 avril 2025, à 13h30, les éléments de la brigade territoriale de Diouloulou ont procédé à l’arrestation de B.D., recherché par la police gambienne.
L’individu faisait l’objet d’un mandat d’arrêt émis en 2021, après avoir été incarcéré pour meurtre suivi d’une évasion.
Les autorités gambiennes, par l’intermédiaire du Bureau Central National INTERPOL Gambie basé à Banjul, avaient sollicité l’assistance des forces sénégalaises pour localiser et arrêter B.D.
Ce dernier s’était réfugié au Sénégal, dans la localité de Samboulandian, commune de Kataba 1, dans le secteur de Diouloulou.
Après son arrestation, il a été remis aux autorités compétentes de la Gambie le même jour, à 19h, sur instructions du Parque.
