À Pikine aussi, la coalition Benno n’a pas résisté à la furie de Yewwi-Wallu. L’inter-coalition a gagné dans toutes les douze (12) communes du département et les 65 centres de vote sont tombés dans l’escarcelle de Yewwi-Wallu. Une défaite inédite, car c’est la première fois que Benno perd des élections à Pikine, depuis 2012. La conjugaison de plusieurs facteurs explique la débâcle aux Législatives, qui met encore les responsables dans un «Ko» total. Tribune
Les Frustrations
À un mois du début de la campagne électorale, des responsables de l’Apr de Pikine-Ouest, regroupés au sein du «collectif non à la liste de Benno à Pikine», ont tenu un point de presse pour alerter les Président Macky Sall. Cheikh Mbacké Mbodj et ses camarades dénonçaient le parachutage, le copinage et l’investiture de transhumants au détriment des «apéristes» de la première heure. Ils ont été suivis par la Convergence de la jeunesse républicaine (Cojer) frustrée de Pikine.
Lors d’une conférence de presse, ces jeunes ont mis sur la place publique leurs frustrations et leur mal vivre dans l’Apr. Mais, ils n’ont pas été pris au sérieux. À Diamaguène Sicap Mbao, la nouvelle dynamique de la coalition Benno, composée de jeunes issus des partis, des mouvements et alliés de l’Apr, avait tiré la sonnette d’alarme à plusieurs reprises, pour alerter sur la situation de Benno à Diamaguène Sicap Mbao. Mais, les appels de Moussa Thiam et de ses camarades semblent tombés dans l’oreille de responsables «sourds». À deux jours de la fin de la campagne électorale, le responsable Oumar Ndoye a dénoncé la mauvaise campagne électorale que menait la coalition Benno à Pikine
Macky Sall et son Mauvais Casting
Les choix du Président Macky Sall sur les investitures de Benno à Pikine ont accentué les frustrations. Sans le dire à haute voix, de nombreux responsables, notamment ceux de l’Apr, ont exprimé leur déception après les investitures, surtout de Daour Niang Ndiaye et d’Amadou Diarra.
En effet, beaucoup de responsable de l’Apr n’ont pas compris la promotion de ces deux transhumants, au détriment des apéristes de souche. «Je ne vais pas me battre pour des transhumants, qui, il n’y a pas longtemps, traitaient le Président Sall de tous les noms d’oiseaux.
Sincèrement, la défaite de Benno à Pikine ne me fait pas mal», peste un responsable de l’Apr sous le couvert de l’anonymat. L’investiture d’Awa Niang aussi a été très mal perçue par beaucoup de responsables de l’Alliance pour la République (Apr). Après deux mandats parlementaires, nos interlocuteurs ont estimé qu’il était temps qu’elle cède la place à d’autres compétences.
Que dire de Pape Sagna Mbaye ? Bien qu’il soit un allié, le choix du protégé de Moustapha Niasse a fait grincer des dents. L’ancien maire de Pikine (2009- 2014) est considéré comme un «invisible» à Pikine.
Chomage Des Jeunes, Inondations, Cherté De La Vie : Le Ras Le Bol Total
Malgré le programme «Xéyu daw yi», les jeunes de Pikine sont confrontés à un chômage accru. D’ailleurs, des jeunes de Pikine ont mis en place un collectif dénommé «10 mn de Pikine».
À la veille du scrutin législatif, le collectif a organisé un vaste rassemblement près du marché sandicat pour dénoncer le chômage qui frappe les jeunes de Pikine et exiger du Président Macky Sall le respect de ses promesses prises lors du «Jokko ak daw yi» à l’arène nationale. Les fortes pluies pendant la campagne électorale n’ont pas arrangé les choses.
Beaucoup de populations de Pikine ont été inondées : notamment à Diamaguène Sicap Mbao, Tivaoune Diacksao, Thiaroye Gare et Thiaroye sur mer. À cela, il faut ajouter la cherté du panier de la ménagère qui frappe durement les populations de la Banlieue.
