« J’ai fait 24 ans dans cette entreprise. La partie civile l’a achetée, il y a un an. Les employés ne bénéficient pas de protection sociale. J’étais tout le temps sollicitée. Quand on avait des problèmes avec l’administration fiscale ou la douane, je faisais des facilitations avec l’argent que je détournais ».
Fille d’un policier à la retraite, la quinquagénaire a contesté énergiquement avoir utilisé l’argent à des fins personnelles.
« Je n’ai jamais failli. Je n’ai ni maison ni voiture. Ça me fait mal de voir mon père payer l’argent », a-t-elle confié. Dans sa déposition, le plaignant, S. Fawaz, a renseigné que la mise en cause avait accroché des amulettes à son fauteuil et à plusieurs endroits de son bureau.
Sur ce point, A. S. Niang a avoué avoir sollicité des marabouts respectables à plusieurs reprises pour le rayonnement de l’entreprise. « On partait ensemble voir les marabouts. Je n’ai jamais tenté de l’envoûter », a-t-elle écarté.
Le père de la prévenue a remis 10 millions de francs à l’avocat de la partie civile qui a estimé le préjudice à plus de 30 millions de francs. « Mon client avait une confiance aveugle en elle. Mais, elle prenait son argent à son insu », a regretté le conseil.
Privée de liberté le 23 juin dernier, la comparante a finalement écopé de deux ans de prison avec sursis. Elle doit également rembourser le reliquat de 20 millions à la victime.
