La série Rebelles a été censurée. La Direction des investigations criminelles a décidé de mettre fin aux séances de tournage. Les raisons invoquées, le contenu ne colle pas à nos valeurs républicaines selon la Direction de la Cinématographie. Pourtant cette production de Marodi avait fait le tour des réseaux sociaux deux mois avant sa diffusion intégrale.
Dans une lettre adressée à la maison de production Marodi, la Direction de la cinématographie demande l’arrêt immédiat des tournages et le retrait de la bande annonce de la chaîne Youtube, synonyme d’une mise en demeure de la série « Rebelles – un Combat pour l’Unité ».
Dans un communiqué rendu public aujourd’hui, la Maison de production Marodi Africa SAS informe l’opinion publique que la DCI a mis en chômage et a plongé dans l’obscurité une équipe de jeunes. Ces derniers ont travaillé sur ce projet avec courage et abnégation selon la même source.
« Cette décision de la Direction de la Cinématographie dite (D.C.I) condamne ainsi au chômage technique les équipes de tournage de la société de production Marodi Africa SAS qui ont travaillé d’arrache-pied depuis plus d’une année (01) déjà sur le projet » lit-on dans le communiqué.
Le document relève aussi que la bande annonce n’a provoqué aucun trouble à l’ordre public depuis sa mise en ligne sur Youtube. » La bande annonce, qui a été déjà visionnée par le public et des centaines de milliers d’abonnés de sa chaîne YouTube Marodi TV, n’a provoqué aucune forme de désordre, à l’instar de ses dix-huit (18) productions »
Selon le réalisateur, Thian Thiandoum joint par Seneweb, plusieurs demandes d’autorisation de tournage ont été envoyées à la Direction de la cinématographie. Mais elle n’a jamais répondu à toutes ses requêtes. La Maison de production Marodi Africa SAS compte engager une bataille judiciaire et n’entend pas changer le contenu de la série comme le souhaite la DCI.
Notons qu’une projection presse de la série ‘’Rebelles’’ est prévue ce mercredi dans un hôtel de la place. L’objectif, c’est de permettre à la presse de jeter un regard sur cette production.
