Hors du pays, Tapha Tine a accepté de s’entretenir avec iGFM via Whatsapp, ce mercredi 24 août 2022. Il a évoqué le choix Bombardier, sa préparation et l’importance de ce combat revanche prévu en janvier ou février 2023.
La structure LUNE Productions d’Alioune Gueye, a ficelé depuis quelques jours, le combat revanche entre Tapha Tine et Bombardier. Ces deux lutteurs vont se retrouver dix ans après avoir offert au public de Demba Diop, un vrai combat de lutte, qui avait vu le corps médical donner la victoire à Tapha Tine. Ce soir-là, du sang avait coulé. Décidant aujourd’hui d’accorder une revanche au lutteur de Mbour, le sociétaire de Baol est revenu sur les raisons de ce choix, leur retrouvailles très attendues, le temps de préparation…
Le choix Bombardier
“C’est juste un combat revanche. Ces types de combats existent depuis toujours, donc il fallait lui prouver que c’est juste du sport. Même si on s’affrontait dix fois, rien ne peut m’empêcher de lui accorder une revanche. Il faisait partie des adversaires qu’on me proposait et j’ai accepté. Mais, c’est le promoteur qui a fait le choix. On me l’a juste proposé et j’ai accepté.”
Retrouvailles
“C’est comme si je ne l’ai jamais affronté parce que notre dernière confrontation date de très longtemps. Dix ans après, je pense qu’il reste toujours un grand lutteur. Il a beaucoup fait pour la lutte. Il a été deux fois roi des arènes. Il a battu des jeunes lutteurs très bons. Je ne veux pas citer de nom, mais vous connaissez ces lutteurs-là. Donc, c’est un champion et une référence dans l’arène. Mais mon objectif reste toujours la confirmation. Je veux confirmer.”
Son état physique
“Je me prépare, je m’entraîne pour gagner. Il faut que je m’entraîne pour avoir de la force. La force reste la seule arme pour pourvoir gagner un combat puisque je connais déjà mon adversaire. C’est un grand combat pour moi.”
Temps de préparation
“J’ai cinq mois pour me préparer. C’est d’ailleurs très bon comme temps de préparation. Si j’avais plus de cinq mois de préparation, ça allait être très compliqué. Quand c’est long, ce n’est pas bon, finalement ça devient fatiguant. Donc, cinq mois de préparation c’est très bon. Pourtant j’ai eu à plusieurs reprises, deux ou un mois de préparation. Donc, même un mois ça m’arrange.”
