INVITONS LE PDS ET LA COALITION WALLU SENEGAL A NE PAS SUIVRE CET APPEL AU SUICIDE COLLECTIF
Le Sénégal traverse depuis quelque temps une crise politique majeure qui, si on ne fait pas attention, peut déboucher sur des lendemains sombres et incertains pour tout le pays. En effet, l’heure est grave et nous allons tout droit vers la dérive. Dès lors, nous demandons au PDS et à la coalition Wallu Sénégal de prendre leur distance des agitations puériles afin de se concentrer sur la préparation des élections législatives.
Comme je l’ai toujours affirmé, l’opposition regroupée au sein de la coalition Yewwi Askan WI est responsable, en grande partie, de cette situation. En effet, ses responsables et mandataires ont commis la faute de n’avoir pas étés à la hauteur dans la phase de confection puis de dépôt des listes, conformément aux règles préétablies.
En vérité, nous avons tous l’obligation de préserver la paix sociale et la stabilité nationale, et ce, malgré nos divergences et nos ambitions politiques. Les enjeux sécuritaires du moment ainsi que les nouvelles formes de menaces asymétriques qui ont jusque-là épargner notre pays doivent pousser chacun de nous à plus de responsabilité dans l’intérêt supérieur du Sénégal. Si les menaces sécuritaires de toute formes sont stoppés net devant nos frontières, au quotidien, c’est grâce au travail remarquable que nos vaillantes forces de sécurité et de défense. Mettons nous aussi à l’esprit que suite aux démantèlements des bases de la rébellion en Casamance, plusieurs éléments combattants sont dans la nature et n’attendent que le moment et l’occasion pour opérer.
Dès lors, nous ne devons, sous aucun prétexte, accepter que le Sénégal tombe enfin à l’image des pays qui nous entourent dans une situation de crise sécuritaire. Les ambitions politiciennes de certains de nos leaders ne doivent nullement en valoir la peine. C’est pour cette raison que nous invitons la direction de notre parti, le PDS, et à la coalition Wallu Sénégal dont nous sommes membre à se démarquer des positions jusqu’au-boutistes et radicales de la coalition Yewwi Askan WI.
Maintenant que nos mandataires ont signé les bons à tirer à la DGE, nous invitons les responsables de notre coalition à se concentrer sur l’élection du 31 juillet. Continuons le montage des comités électoraux et l’animation de nos bases en attendant le démarrage de la campagne électorale.
Pour terminer, nous savons que cette opposition qui donne l’impression d’être radicale n’a pas confiance à notre parti et à ses dirigeants. Et pourtant, nous avons vécu seuls dans la dignité et le courage des moments d’extrêmes difficultés, entre 2012 et 2016, sans le soutien de personnes parmi ceux-là qui s’agitent aujourd’hui. Au contraire, ils ont constamment attaqué et vilipendé notre parti et ses dirigeants avec une violence verbale sans précédent. Rappelons nous aussi qu’en 2019, lorsque la candidature du PDS à la présidentielle a été rejeté par le même conseil constitutionnel, on a été seul dans le combat.
Nous pouvons pardonner, être ensemble, mais nous ne devons pas oublier.
Tous aux élections ! Barrons la route à toute tentative de faire basculer le Sénégal dans la violence avec le dessein caché d’étouffer certaines affaires.
