Air Sénégal international vient d’acquérir huit nouveaux avions dans sa flotte. Ceci constitue à aider la compagnie nationale sénégalaise à se déployer davantage dans les airs. Encore, Air Sénégal international entend offrir de nouvelles lignes et des départs de l’aéroport militaire Léopold Sédar Senghor.
Cette annonce réjouissante est accueillie avec enthousiasme par les passagers d’Air Sénégal, car la compagnie nationale renouera avec les opérations de décollage et d’atterrissage à l’aéroport de Dakar, rebaptisé aéroport Léopold Sédar Senghor.
Les vols commerciaux devraient redémarrer le 15 janvier prochain, selon les informations fournies par L’OBS, qui rapporte également l’acquisition des huit nouveaux avions par Air Sénégal.
Les nouveaux avions en question sont des L-410 tchèques, chacun d’une capacité de 19 places. Et la même source précise que ces appareils seront affectés à la desserte des aéroports intérieurs du pays depuis Dakar.
Les départs des vols auront lieu depuis l’aéroport Léopold Senghor, qui était fermé au trafic commercial depuis 2017. Le premier vol est planifié en direction de Saint-Louis, suivi d’un autre vers Kédougou, dont la date précise n’a pas encore été annoncée.
