Un convoi de 66 camions contenant 1980 tonnes de nitrate d’ammonium pour le compte de la société X-Logs sème la terreur à Ngoundiane. Depuis lors, les autorités municipaux tente de faire quitter ce produit dangereux de la commune. Après de nombreuses tractations, le maire Mbaye Dione a réussi à trouver le moyen de faire partir ce produit.
« Je confirme d’après une information reçue ce jour, du Capitaine Boubou Niane, Commandant la Compagnie territoriale de Gendarmerie de Thiès que les 66 camions vont commencer à quitter la Commune de Ngoundiane et le territoire sénégalais à partir de ce samedi matin incha Allah », a confirmé le maire Mbaye Dione.
