Ce mercredi, l’Alliance pour la République (APR) a publié une déclaration percutante dans laquelle elle dénonce ce qu’elle considère comme des « dérives dictatoriales » et une « chasse aux sorcières » orchestrée par le pouvoir actuel contre les membres de l’ancien gouvernement.
La déclaration fait référence à la demande de levée de l’immunité parlementaire de l’honorable Farba Ngom, membre de la Coalition Takku Wallu Sénégal et de l’APR, une démarche initiée par le ministre de la Justice et entérinée par l’Assemblée Nationale le 14 janvier 2025.
Bien que la procédure de levée d’immunité parlementaire soit légale, l’APR exprime son inquiétude quant aux motivations réelles derrière cette démarche.
Le parti accuse le Premier ministre Ousmane Sonko, ancien adversaire de l’APR, d’utiliser les institutions de l’État à des fins politiques pour éliminer ses opposants. Selon l’APR, cette manœuvre s’inscrit dans une série d’attaques ciblées contre les figures du régime de Macky Sall, dont Farba Ngom serait l’une des premières victimes.
Dans sa déclaration, l’APR rappelle les déclarations violentes d’Ousmane Sonko lors des législatives anticipées, où il avait affirmé que Farba Ngom « ne participerait plus jamais à une élection au Sénégal ». Ce genre de discours, selon l’APR, témoigne d’une volonté de vengeance et d’une entreprise politique visant à éliminer des opposants à la tête du pays.
L’APR souligne que la rapidité avec laquelle l’Assemblée Nationale a réagi à la demande du ministre de la Justice soulève des doutes quant à la sincérité et à l’équité de la procédure.
Le parti évoque également ce qu’il considère comme une « inquisition » menée par le pouvoir, qui, sous prétexte de récupérer des « deniers publics volés », chercherait à affaiblir et à exclure tous ceux ayant des liens avec l’ancien président Macky Sall.
Les scandales liés à la gestion des fonds publics, tels que l’affaire des « 1000 milliards » et les malversations au sein d’organismes comme l’ASER et l’ONAS, sont également évoqués dans la déclaration. L’APR semble suggérer que le pouvoir actuel utilise ces accusations de corruption pour se débarrasser des figures influentes du régime précédent, tout en masquant ses propres insuffisances et défaillances face à une crise sociale grandissante.
Malgré ces accusations, l’APR insiste sur son soutien à la reddition des comptes, à condition que celle-ci soit menée de manière transparente et équitable.
Le parti affirme son opposition à ce qu’il qualifie de « règlement de comptes » et appelle à une justice impartiale. Selon l’APR, cette « chasse aux sorcières » menée par le gouvernement actuel ne ferait qu’exacerber les divisions politiques du pays et nuire à la réconciliation nationale.
Dans ce contexte, l’APR appelle à la résistance et à l’unité de toutes les forces politiques, républicaines et démocratiques, pour faire face à ce qu’elle perçoit comme un glissement autoritaire du pouvoir. L’Alliance se positionne en défenseur des valeurs démocratiques et républicaines, appelant à la mobilisation citoyenne pour contrer ce qu’elle considère comme des abus de pouvoir.
L’APR déplore également la situation sociale tendue que traverse le pays, exacerbée par la hausse généralisée des prix et la colère croissante de catégories populaires telles que les jakartamen, les chauffeurs de taxis et les marchands ambulants. Selon le parti, le gouvernement tente d’éteindre la frustration populaire en allumant des « contre-feux », notamment à travers des actions de diversion telles que la mise en cause des responsables de l’ancien régime.
Face à ce climat politique et social explosif, l’APR appelle à une unité politique et à un engagement collectif pour un Sénégal plus juste et en paix, loin des tensions et des divisions actuelles.
En somme, la déclaration de l’APR met en lumière une période de vives tensions politiques au Sénégal.
L’Alliance pour la République, tout en affirmant son soutien à la reddition des comptes, s’oppose fermement à ce qu’elle perçoit comme une instrumentalisation des institutions au service de règlements de comptes politiques.
Dans cette guerre d’usure entre le pouvoir actuel et l’opposition, l’APR appelle à la résistance et à une défense intransigeante des principes républicains et démocratiques. Les prochains mois pourraient bien être décisifs pour l’avenir politique du Sénégal.
