Plusieurs confrères n’ont pas pu assister à la cérémonie officielle du Grand Magal de Touba du 16 septembre dernier qui s’est déroulée à la Résidence Khadimou Rassoul. Ce, à cause d’un officier de police qui a remis en cause la carte nationale de la presse.
D’aprés SudQuotidien, il s’agit du commandant des troupes du Groupement mobile d’intervention (GMI) aux alentours de la Grande Mosquée qui a signifié aux journalistes que cette carte n’est pas valable pour accéder sur les lieux, sans préciser non plus, s’il y avait des accréditations exceptionnelles.
D’où la nécessité de sensibiliser davantage les forces de sécurité sur la mise en place d’une telle carte d’un commun accord entre l’Etat du Sénégal et les professionnels du secteur dans le but d’assainir la presse.
