La morgue de l’hôpital Le Dantec sera fermée. Les 55 corps qui s’y trouvent dont 4 étrangers vont être enterrés lundi. La procédure est lancée pour avoir une autorisation d’inhumer. Pour les autopsies, l’hôpital Idrissa Pouye de Grand Yoff va prendre le relais, selon le Dr Ibou Thiam, chef du service de la morgue et de la médecine légale.
« La morgue sera effectivement fermée, même si on a une capacité d’accueil très importante vis à vis des autres structures sanitaires. Je pense que les autorités du ministère de la Sante ont déjà pris des mesures pour pallier tout problème« , a-t-il notamment déclaré, mardi, sur Rfm.
Décentralisation
La décentralisation se fera dans d’autres structures comme Dalal Diam, l’hôpital Général Idrissa Pouye de Grand-Yoff, l’hôpital militaire de Ouakam.
Autopsie
A Dakar, l’autopsie est pratiquée dans deux structures principalement à Le Dantec et à l’Hôpital général Idrissa Pouye de Grand-Yoff. « Ici (Ndrl : Le Dantec), on faisait pratiquement 900 cas d’autopsie par an en moyenne. A l’hôpital de Grand-Yoff, il y a moins d’activités mais je pense qu’ils pourront pallier ce gap entre temps en attendant qu’on aménage les salles d’autopsie de l’Hôpital Dalal Diam et peut-être à l’Hôpital militaire de Ouakam« , a expliqué Dr Thiam.
55 corps dont 4 étrangers
Il précise qu’il y a « à peu près », 55 corps qui sont dans les tiroirs de la morgue de l’hôpital Aristide Le Dantec dont une trentaine d’enfants. « Parmi ces 55, il y a également 4 étrangers« , a-t-il noté.
Inhumation
Et dire que pour les 51 corps, la procédure a été déjà lancée pour pouvoir obtenir l’autorisation de les inhumer. « Je pense que d’ici lundi au plus tard, ce sera effectif. Pour les autres corps , on va essayer de les transférer dans d’autres structures« , a fulminé Dr Ibou Thiam.
