La brigade nationale des sapeurs pompiers travaille en relation avec l’ONAS, la DPGI et l’armée pour lutter contre les inondations. Depuis le déclenchement du Plan ORSEC, les efforts portent essentiellement sur le Poste de haute tension électrique de la Senelec de Hann, la cité Belle Vue, le parc de Hann et la zone de captage. Ce dispositif a permis pour le moment d’évacuer plus de 1 400 000 m3 d’eau.Les opérations se poursuivent nuit et jour.
180 sapeurs-pompiers dont 08 officiers, 12 véhicules de divers type (pelle mécanique, grue, véhicule de transport…) et 15 électropompes de divers débits ont été déployés à Keur Massar. Un dispositif a permis d’évacuer plus de 188 000 m3 d’eau. Ces activités entrent dans le cadre de la lutte contre les inondations. En effet, la Brigade nationale des sapeurs-pompiers (BNSP) a déployé des moyens humains et matériels depuis le 20 juin 2022 sur l’ensemble du territoire national. A Dakar, cette campagne a démarré par un écrêtage des bassins, en particulier dans le département de Keur Massar.
Il faut noter que depuis la dernière forte pluie reçue à Dakar le vendredi 05 août et le déclenchement du plan ORSEC, ce dispositif a été renforcé. Il est passé à 380 hommes, 98 motopompes et électropompes.
