17 jeunes porteurs de projets ont reçu, vendredi, des financements à hauteur de 55 millions de francs Cfa, pour la promotion de l’entrepreneuriat digital chez les jeunes et les femmes à Mont-Rolland. Ce programme entre dans le cadre du projet de territorialisation des Objectifs de développement durable (Odd), porté par la Délégation à l’entrepreneuriat rapide des femmes et des jeunes (Der/fj) et le Programme des Nations unies pour le développement (Pnud).

En plus des financements, des équipements informatiques ont été aussi remis aux lauréats. Selon Carine Vavasseur, cheffe de division innovation, animation d’écosystème à la Der/fj, le projet s’agit, en effet, «de faire en sorte que ces entrepreneurs utilisent le digital pour faire grandir leurs projets d’entreprises et les accompagner dès le départ en termes d’identification des opportunités en relation avec les potentialités de la commune».
Le Point focal du programme indique qu’au «départ, il y a eu 250 porteurs de projets dans les trois communes-tests de Mont-Rolland, Sandiara et Bargny. Et la première sélection a permis de retenir 120 et le jury final a déterminé les 60 lauréats, bénéficiaires du financement. La sélection des porteurs de projets a été faite par un comité mixte, qui a agi comme un jury, avec les représentants communaux, les représentants du Pnud et de la Der».
A sa suite, le maire de Mont-Rolland, Ives Lamine Ciss, de saluer ce programme-test. Pour lui, sa localité «a l’obligation de le réussir», ceci pour permettre aux autres communes du Sénégal d’en bénéficier. «Nous sommes des cobayes et il nous appartient de tout faire pour réussir, pour que le programme ne s’arrête pas là», dit-il. Saluant l’initiative qui s’ajoute à d’autres déjà mises en œuvre dans ce domaine dans la commune de Mont-Rolland, l’élu soutient qu’il entre dans le cadre de leur «combat au quotidien, qui est de faire en sorte que les jeunes qui sont à Dakar reviennent au village pour s’engager dans le processus de développement local. Cette démarche impulse l’élan de lutte contre l’exode rural et favorise le retour au bercail de ceux qui sont déjà partis».
Fatou Mbengue, initiatrice du projet à Mont-Rolland Live, ne dit pas moins.
Bénéficiaire du projet, Mme Mbengue, qui travaille sur la mise en place d’un système d’informations géographiques pour les collectivités locales, les entreprises mais aussi les particuliers, soutient que sa commune est obligée d’aller jusqu’à Thiès ou Dakar pour recruter un géomètre ou un topographe afin de faire le travail, quand elle a besoin d’une étude de cartographie, d’une enquête de terrain ou de lotissement. Pour simplement dire, «ce sera véritablement un plus, quand un cabinet spécialisé sera installé sur place et qu’il puisse faire correctement le travail, d’autant plus que c’est toujours meilleur de recruter un fils du terroir pour s’investir dans ces domaines stratégiques dans le processus de développement».
