Vers un mercredi noir demain. La cause, la manifestation de la coalition Yewwi Askan Wi prévue pour ce mercredi 29 juin 2022, est interdite par le préfet de Dakar. À l’image de celle du 17 juin dernier, les motifs évoqués pour refuser l’autorisation du rassemblement de Yewwi à la Place de la Nation, de 15H à 19H sont : « risque de troubles à l’ordre public; violation de l’article L61 du Code électoral ».
Un refus qui va très certainement mettre la capitale sens dessus sens dessous d’autant plus que les leaders de la coalition de l’opposition avaient menacé de tenir leur manifestation avec ou sans l’accord du préfet de Dakar.
L’on se rappelle de celle dramatique du 17 juin dernier, ayant fait au moins 3 morts, dont 1 à Colobane, les 2 autres dans le Sud du pays, plus précisément à Ziguinchor et Bignona. Dans la foulée de cette manifestation non autorisée, Déthié Fall, Mame Diarra Fam, Ahmed Aïdara, Guy Marius Sagna, ainsi que certains militants avaient été arrêtés puis jugés.
Par rapport au jugement, si les responsables de Yewwi à Dakar et Guédiawaye connaissent le sort qui leur est réservé, Guy Marius Sagna est toujours en procès, au moment où sont écrites ces lignes. le procureur a requis la main lourde d’un emprisonnement de 2 ans, dont 6 mois ferme, au moment où la défense a plaidé la relaxe pure et simple. Le procès est en cours.
