Après les étapes de Dakar et Pikine, il a fait étape à Thiaroye sur mer où il a mobilisé des militants dans l’optique de la manifestation prévue le 17 juin.
«Nous sommes en train de les mobiliser pour le rassemblement de vendredi prochain. N’importe quelle personne peut rester dans son bureau, prendre le micro et dire que force restera à la loi. Ça, c’est trop facile. On verra. Aujourd’hui, nous sommes à l’heure des rapports de force. La coalition Yewwi prendra part aux élections législatives. C’est la loi électorale qui nous l’autorise » a déclaré Barth.
Après une première mobilisation très réussie le 8 juin dernier, le rendez du 17 à la place de la nation avec le peuple vise « la consolidation des acquis démocratiques », souligne-t-il. “La constitution du Sénégal est au-dessus des préoccupations du régime. Elle nous donne le droit partout et tout le temps de communiquer avec le peuple à travers l’image, la parole et la plume. Les populations doivent sortir en masse pour le compte de la démocratie sénégalaise », a-t-il conclu.
