Les centaines de milliards investies dans le département de Rufisque, notamment avec le Pôle urbain de Diamniadio, n’impactent en rien le vécu des Rufisquois privés d’infrastructures sociales de base adéquates. C’est la lecture faite par le mouvement Jeunesse citoyenne rufisquoise (Jcr), qui a décrié le comportement des autorités locales qui n’ont pas porté la voix du département.
«Nous avons constaté que les équipes vainqueurs de la Coupe du Sénégal ont toutes été reçues par le président de la République. Mais lorsque Teunguedj Fc a gagné la Coupe du Sénégal (2019), elle n’a pas été reçue par le chef de l’Etat», a-t-il servi pour illustrer le manque supposé de considération envers Rufisque.
«Ce sont autant de problèmes que nous voulons porter à travers ce mouvement pour faire résonner la voix du département», a-t-il insisté. Après le lancement du mouvement sous la présence d’une cinquantaine de jeunes, Jcr a annoncé une série d’activités et de plaidoyer pour exiger de l’Etat une prise en charge correcte des préoccupations des populations du département.
