Le ministre des Infrastructures, des Transports terrestres et du Désenclavement, Mansour Faye, a lancé jeudi, les travaux d’aménagement de la boucle du Boudier (Sédhiou, sud), financés à hauteur de 27 milliards de francs par l’État du Sénégal et ses partenaires de développement, a constaté l’APS.
Longue de 81 kms, cette route va relier les communes de Sédhiou, Bambali, Djirédji et Marsassoum.
Accompagné par le ministre de la Culture et de la Communication et maire de Sédhiou, Abdoulaye Diop, la présidente du conseil départemental, Dr Annette Seck et des maires du département, le ministre a eu droit à une présentation du programme spécial de désenclavement de la boucle du Boudier par des responsables de l’AGEROUTE et de l’entreprise EIFFAGE.
La construction de cette voie de contournement, une veille doléance des producteurs et des usagers, va participer au désenclavement de la région de Sédhiou.
« La vision du chef de l’État est claire et sa politique de désenclavement amorcée un peu partout vise à corriger les déséquilibres dans les zones lointaines », a lancé Mansour Faye aux populations du Boudier.
Arrivé dans la matinée au village de Goudiabiya qui a abrité la cérémonie de lancement des travaux, le ministre a ajouté que la région de Sédhiou occupe « une place de choix » dans la politique de développement des infrastructures au Sénégal.
Il a notamment évoqué la construction du pont de Marsassoum, l’hôpital Amadou Tidiane Ba, la mosquée. De même, il annoncé la construction prochaine de 2 kms de voiries en pavés au niveau de la ville de Marsassoum.
Faisant une pierre, deux coups, Mansour Faye a également lancé les travaux de construction de la route Kolda-Salikegne, et Kolda-Pata.
