La même source souligne que cette évolution provient de la diminution des prix des « produits alimentaires et boissons non alcoolisées » (-0,9).
Toutefois, le renchérissement de certains biens et services, tels que ceux des « transports » (+0,7%), des « articles d’habillement et chaussures » (+0,3%) et de la « communication » (+0,3%) a amoindri cette tendance baissière. Par rapport au mois d’avril 2023, les prix à la consommation se sont accrus de 2,3%.
Hors énergie et produits frais, les prix à la consommation ont augmenté de 0,2% en rythme mensuel et de 1,2% par rapport au mois d’avril 2023.
Selon l’origine, les prix des produits locaux se sont repliés de 0,8%, tandis que ceux des produits importés se sont relevés de 0,2% en avril 2024, par rapport au mois précédent. En variation annuelle, ajoute l’ANSD, les prix des produits locaux et importés se sont accrus, respectivement, de 5,0% et 1,7%.
