En décembre 2024, la production industrielle hors égrenage de coton se relève de 0,6% relativement à celle de la même période en 2023.
Selon l’Agence nationale de la statistique et de la démographie (ANSD) qui donne l’information, cette évolution est imputable à la performance notée dans les industries environnementales (+5,0%), de production d’électricité, de gaz et d’eau (+3,1%) ainsi que manufacturières (+2,1%).
Elle est, en revanche, amoindrie par la baisse de l’activité de production dans les industries extractives hors pétrole et gaz (-4,3%). En cumul sur l’année 2024, la production industrielle augmente de 0,1%, par rapport à son niveau en 2023.
La hausse de la production des industries environnementales (+6,7%) et de l’électricité, gaz et eau (+5,3%) a été partiellement contrebalancée par les contreperformances des industries extractives (-0,9%) et de la fabrication des produits manufacturiers (-0,6%).
S’agissant de l’activité d’égrenage de coton, note l’ANSD , elle est marquée par une diminution de la production de 5,5%, en glissement annuel, en décembre 2024. De même, elle s’est contractée de 31,4%, en cumul sur l’année 2024, relativement à 2023.
