Le président de la Chambre de commerce, d’industrie et d’agriculture de Kaolack (CCIAK), Serigne Mboup, a appelé dimanche le nouveau ministre du Commerce, de la Consommation et des Petites et moyennes entreprises (PME), Abdou Karim Fofana, à prendre toutes les dispositions nécessaires pour la tenue des élections des Chambres consulaires dont les mandats sont arrivés à terme depuis 2014.
’’L’organisation des Chambres consulaires est une nécessité et ça met tout le monde à l’aise. Monsieur le ministre, avec la multitude d’organisations, l’Etat a même des problèmes pour avoir un interlocuteur, parce qu’on peut créer une organisation quand on veut, alors que ce sont des organisations qui ont les mêmes fonctions’’, s’est désolé M. Mboup.
M. Mboup, par ailleurs maire de la commune de Kaolack (centre), a lancé cet appel lors de la conférence territoriale dur les stocks et les prix, à l’initiative d’Abdou Karim Fofana, qui a rencontré les opérateurs économiques et autres organisations consuméristes de la région pour s’enquérir de l’état des stocks et des prix des principaux produits commerciaux.
Selon lui, les interlocuteurs des autorités étatiques demeurent les Chambres de commerce, d’industrie et d’agriculture pour lesquels, tout commerçant, industriel, agriculteur et producteur qui dispose d’un régie de commerce est ‘’membre d’office’’ et a le droit d’être candidat au poste de président ou d’élu.
’’Depuis 2012, on n’arrive pas à organiser des élections au niveau des Chambres consulaires, alors qu’on organise des élections de représentativité syndicale, au niveau des Chambres des métiers. Vous connaissant, je suis sûr que vous allez prendre cette question en main pour les organiser, ainsi, on saura qui est qui et qui fait quoi’’, a lancé Serigne Mboup.
’’Le Sénégal nous appartient. La vie est trop chère, les opérateurs économiques doivent se parler entre eux, mais aussi avec les détaillants, les consommateurs et l’Etat, pour voir comment faire pour que la situation stable au grand bonheur de la population’’, a-t-il plaidé.
D’après Serigne Mbour, la cherté de la vie n’est pas seulement le problème que doit régler l’Etat. ‘’Si les Chambres de commerce fonctionnaient normalement, des démarches pourraient être menées en amont, entre acteurs du commerce et, ensuite, d’une seule voix, aller faire des propositions de sortie de crise à l’Etat’’, a fait valoir M. Mboup.
