Le directeur de cabinet du chef de l’État, Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, et le député Abdou Mbow ont été victimes hier, jeudi, vers 22 heures, d’un grave accident sur l’autoroute Ila Touba. La voiture du premier dans laquelle ils voyageaient ensemble a percuté de plein fouet un véhicule stationné sur le bord de la route.
La Land Cruiser des deux personnalités a fait plusieurs tonneaux avant de s’immobiliser dans le décor. D’après L’Observateur, qui donne l’information, il y a eu plus de peur que de mal. Car, Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, Abdou Mbow et le chauffeur s’en sont sortis indemnes. Le garde du corps du directeur de cabinet, lui, s’est retrouvé avec une grave blessure à une main.
Le journal signale que les victimes ont été sauvées par les airbags, qui se sont automatiquement déployés. Il renseigne qu’elles ont été transportées à l’hôpital régional de Diourbel par le gouverneur de la région en attendant leur évacuation à Dakar sur instruction du Président Macky Sall.
Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo et Abdou Mbow étaient en partance pour Kaolack. Ils devaient transmettre un message du chef de l’État en vue du Gamou qui sera célébré samedi prochain. Auparavant, la délégation a représenté Macky Sall à Ndiassane et Thianaba.
