Une pirogue partie des îles du Saloum, au sud de la petite-côte sénégalaise, a échoué sur la plage de Guédiawaye après plusieurs jours passés en mer. Même si tous les passagers sont sains et sauf, l’un d’eux, une femme, a été évacuée par les sapeurs-pompiers, renseigne Libération.
Déjà la semaine dernière, des candidats au voyage, qui croyaient avoir rejoint l’archipel espagnol, ont eu la surprise de leur vie quand ils se sont rendus compte qu’ils étaient à Ngor (un quartier Lebou de Dakar). Les convoyeurs qui les avaient roulés dans la farine en connaissance de cause, ont été arrêtés par les gendarmes.
A noter qu’entre le 20 et 21 octobre, la Marine sénégalaise a intercepté 3 pirogues transportant 361 personnes dont 29 femmes et 51 mineurs.
