Le traditionnel forum du Numérique édition 2022 se prépare à grands pas. Ce 30 Août 2022, une rencontre s’est tenue à Dakar pour la composition du comité d’organisation et du jury devant donner les résultats du gagnant du prestigieux Grand Prix du chef de l’État pour l’ innovation.
Le forum du Numérique revient cette année. Étant un moment d’échanges en mais surtout de reconnaissance des acteurs qui ont contribué au développement du secteur, le Forum du Numérique compte encore une fois décerné le prix du Chef de l’ État pour l’innovation . Pour cette année, les organisateurs ont innové. Selon le ministre de l’Economie Numérique Yankhoba Diatara « dans son souci de motiver les participants, le Président de la République a rehaussé la récompense du Grand Prix qui passe de 20 à 30 millions, et les Prix Spéciaux à 15 millions chacun».
Présidant le lancement de l’édition 2022, le ministre a souligné que le Grand Prix du Président de la République pour l’Innovation Numérique se veut être un creuset d’éclosion des talents et du génie sénégalais dans le numérique, plus particulièrement la créativité entrepreneuriale de notre jeunesse.
Le Forum du numérique est une initiative de la Présidence de la République en partenariat avec le MENT et les acteurs du secteur . Le thème de cette année se focalisera sur les Fintech. Une belle occasion de monter toutes les innovations et programmes d’un secteur en perpétuel mutation .
Pour sa part , Maimouna Diop, conseillère technique du ministère, a rappelé que l’objectif de ce Grand Prix était de récompenser les projets et start-up qui ‘’contribuent, de par leur innovation dans le digital, à améliorer la vie des Sénégalais, en ayant un fort impact sur leur quotidien’’.
Ce concours va aussi booster la création d’emplois dans le numérique, développer le tissu économique du pays et soutenir le développement des projets et start-up innovantes dans un secteur à forte croissance’’.
Le lauréat du Grand Prix empochera la somme de 30 millions de francs CFA. Le vainqueur du Prix dédié aux femmes et celui spécial recevront chacun la somme de 15 millions de francs CFA. Les trois lauréats auront également une médaille, un diplôme et un accompagnement, selon la conseillère.
Pour rappel la première édition du Grand Prix du Chef de l’Etat pour l’Innovation Numérique a été remportée par le jeune Mahamadou Lamine Kébé de la startup Tol bi.
