Le Président de la République Macky Sall a assuré l’indemnisation intégrale de l’ensemble des copropriétaires impactés aux HLM Maristes.
Selon le Directeur Général de la SN HLM, Mamadou Diagne Sy Mbengue, c’est un budget de 17,2 milliards FCFA que le président Macky Sall a dégagé pour l’indemnisation des impactés dont les immeubles ont été démolis aux HLM Maristes.
»Vous avez tous entendu parler du problème des Maristes, mais c’est le lieu pour moi d’informer l’opinion que le Président a mis sur la table 17, 2 milliard qui nous ont permis d’indemniser intégralement les 596 copropriétaires des Maristes. La SN HLM n’avait plus reçu de foncier depuis 1999 et il vient de mettre à la disposition de la SN HLM 50 hectares dans la forêt classée de Sébikhotane et que certainement nous en aurons d’autres dotations à Dakar et dans les régions », informe le directeur de la SN HLM.
Par ailleurs, il assure que dans le secteur du foncier, la diaspora va aussi être prise en compte.
»La Diaspora nous attend et elle a plus confiance aux structures publiques si bien que notre responsabilité est tellement grande dans le secteur du logement qu’on a besoin de tout planifier mais on a besoin aussi de ressources qui vont partir de l’accompagnement de l’Etat et de tous ses partenaires qui sont avec nous notamment les banques », affirme Mamadou Diagne Sy.
Ainsi, pour mieux prendre en compte les besoins en logement, le Conseil d’administration a initié une rencontre d’élaboration d’un plan stratégique de développement afin de mieux répondre à leurs engagements. Cette rencontre permettra de partager des rapports d’évaluation indépendante du contrat de performance 2017-2019 et du plan stratégique de développement 2017-2019.
Il rappelle que pendant longtemps, la SN HLM avait des difficultés de production de parcelles assainies.
»Vous avez vu qu’on est passé de 61 à 1280 entre 2017 et 2022. Et pour ce qui concerne la production de logements c’est pratiquement à l’arrêt, pour ne pas dire au ralenti et en 2022, nous allons réceptionner entre 150 et 200 logements qui sont construits à Dakar et dans les régions. Nous sommes plus ambitieux que cela parce que la mission qui nous a été confiée par l’Etat du Sénégal depuis 1959, est aujourd’hui renchérie par le fait que nous avons le projet des 100.000 logements qui ambitionne de permettre aux Sénégalais ordinaires d’avoir un accès facile au logement », dira-t-il.
Puis il conclut : »C’est pour cela que nous nous sommes positionnés pour produire au moins 25% de ce programme qui doit durer 5 ans et dont 60.000 qui constituent la première phase, la SN HLM va en produire une bonne partie ».
