Lors d’une interview accordée à VoaAfrique, le chef de l’État Macky Sall est revenu sur les incidents qui ont émaillé l’installation de la 14e législature.
Catégorique, le Président Macky Sall a insisté sur le fait que l’Assemblée nationale ne peut pas bloquer le système de fonctionnement de l’État.
“Nous avons un système politique qui fait que l’Assemblée ne peut pas bloquer le système de fonctionnement de l’État. Ça, il faut que les gens en soient très conscients, parce que le Président de la République, ses pouvoirs ne dépendent pas de l’Assemblée nationale”, a assuré le Président Macky Sall.
D’ailleurs, pour le chef de l’État, le Sénégal est une vraie démocratie.
“Dans toutes les grandes démocraties vous avez de très courtes majorités. (…) On a eu une majorité courte, mais une majorité quand même permet de gouverner. Ce qui a été noté est tout simplement déplorable dans le sens où le Sénégal est une démocratie qui s’est fortifiée”, a apprécié Macky Sall.
