En Casamance mercredi, le coordonnateur de la coalition Aar Sénégal appelle l’opposition à oublier les égos et à se mettre en ordre de bataille dès le 1er août, pour combattre l’éventuelle 3e candidature du Président Macky Sall.
De plus en plus, l’idée d’une 3e candidature en 2024 de Macky Sall émerge dans les rangs de Benno Bokk Yakaar. Le week-end dernier, Thérèse Faye Diouf, un des piliers du régime, en a rajouté une couche, en demandant publiquement à l’actuel Président de retenter le coup. Si Macky Sall, il y a un mois, a dit sur Rfi et France 24 qu’il va se prononcer après les élections législatives, Aar Sénégal veut lui un large front de l’opposition pour contrer toute tentative de briguer un 3e mandat.
«Après les Législatives, dès le 1er août, Aar Sénégal lance un appel à tous les Sénégalais épris de justice et de démocratie, à oublier leur appartenance pour se mobiliser et combattre la 3e candidature», a invité hier Abdourahmane Diouf, coordonnateur de Aar Sénégal, lors d’une conférence de presse à Ziguinchor.
Dans ce combat, M. Diouf estime qu’il ne doit pas y avoir de clivages politiques. Raison pour laquelle, il invite les organisations de la Société civile à se joindre à la lutte, pour empêcher Macky Sall de se représenter lors de la prochaine élection présidentielle.
Par ailleurs, Aar Sénégal déplore la «stigmatisation» de certains opposants par le camp présidentiel. «Nous ne sommes pas d’accord avec cette démarche de Benno Bokk Yakaar qui considère que tout ressortissant de la Casamance qui n’est pas avec le Président, est un rebelle. Nous ne sommes pas avec une certaine opposition, ils ont leur voie et nous, la nôtre. Mais on ne peut pas accepter que Benno assimile tous ceux qui ne sont pas avec eux, à de rebelles. Si Benno veut gagner, il n’a qu’à utiliser des idées et des programmes mais pas des accusations qui ne reposent sur rien», a dit M. Diouf.
Dans ce sillage, Aar Sénégal, considère que la Casamance fait entièrement partie du Sénégal. «On fait un appel à la paix pour un Sénégal un et indivisible, pour le respect des libertés publiques. Nous faisons un appel à cette classe politique pour des élections apaisées, transparentes. Que le vaincu félicite le vainqueur et que le vaincu aille se préparer pour d’autres échéances. Le Sénégal continuera à exister au- delà des élections législatives», dira l’ancien porte-parole de “Rewmi”.
