Il n’y aura pas de grève des meuniers. Le gouvernement vient de signer la décision de virement de 4 milliards Cfa. Une somme qui vise à subventionner les meuniers pour stabiliser le prix du pain. Ainsi la facture de 2021 réglée, Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo a affirmé que l’ardoise de cette année sera versée au mois de juillet.
C’est une crise désamorcée par le ministre des Finances et du budget. Les meuniers n’auront plus besoin de faire une grève pour rentrer dans leur dû. «Je confirme avoir signé la décision de versement mercredi. Les meuniers doivent avoir reçu les 4 milliards. Qui est l’un des engagements de subvention de l’année dernière. Pour les 6 premiers mois de 2022, ce sont 15 milliards Cfa.
Ce montant sera versé avant le 10 juillet», a informé Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo. Lors de la conférence de presse du gouvernement, le ministre a profité de cette question pour détailler les mesures prises par l’Etat pour éviter l’inflation. Selon Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, les énergies, l’huile, le sucre, le riz et le blé sont subventionnés, en plus de la renonciation aux taxes. «En fin d’année 2021, je m’étais engagé à travailler pour maintenir les prix actuels mais pas de les baisser. L’Etat avait renoncé aux recettes fiscales et douanières en octobre 2021 pour 50 milliards et avait subventionné à hauteur de 157 milliards Cfa. Cette année, la situation a persisté à cause de la guerre en Ukraine», a-t-il déclaré.
Subvention de l’énergie
Cette somme a permis au consommateur de ne pas ressentir les conséquences économiques de la pandémie et de la crise ukrainienne. Une situation qui ne peut perdurer. «Les 150 milliards Cfa pour maintenir le prix des énergies ont été dépassés. Nous avons prévu la même somme pour la loi de finance rectificative. Si les tendances se confirment, notre subvention à l’énergie ne serait pas inférieure à 509 milliards Cfa», a prévenu Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo. Selon le ministre des Finances et du budget, bien qu’étant loin d’être soutenable dans la durée, cette subvention de l’énergie est l’unique façon d’éviter l’inflation.
«Nous avons choisi d’augmenter le prix du Super parce qu’il est utilisé par le 1/4 des automobilistes. En plus, il est consommé par les Sénégalais de niveau moyen. C’est la solution que nous avons choisie car le Gasoil a un effet d’entraînement sur les autres produits. Si son prix augmente, tous les autres prix vont suivre», admet Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo.
