Il attend la réponse de sa direction pour que son départ du club rufisquois soit officiel. «J’ai envoyé ma lettre de démission, mais je n’ai pas encore reçu de réponse du club. Donc, je suis encore sous contrat jusqu’à ce que le club me réponde», précise le technicien, repris dans les colonnes de L’Observateur de ce mercredi.
Mais, déjà, Youssouph Dabo est annoncé au Jaraaf. Il devrait remplacer Cheikh Guèye dont le contrat est arrivé à terme et ne devrait pas être renouvelé. L’Observateur rapporte que Dabo et le Jaraaf, qui sont en «discussions très avancées», sont «parvenus à un accord sur la durée (du contrat) et le salaire».
Un hic subsiste, cependant. «Deux obstacles majeurs retardent l’officialisation de son arrivée chez le vice-champion de Ligue 1», signale le journal du Groupe Futurs Medias.
Premièrement : Youssou Dabo est sous contrat avec Teungueth FC jusqu’en 2023. Si son club refuse de le libérer, son passage sur le banc des Vert et Blanc pourrait être un long chemin de croix.
Deuxième souci : le technicien souhaite rejoindre son nouveau poste avec l’ensemble de son staff alors que le Jaraaf compte garder quelques collaborateurs de Cheikh Guèye, le coach sortant.
Mais malgré ces deux écueils, une source de L’Observateur au niveau du club de la Médina reste optimiste. «On est sûr et certain qu’on trouvera un terrain d’entente sous peu», assure-t-elle.
