Famara Ibrahima Cissé qui a toujours dénoncé les « abus » des banques vis-à-vis de leurs clients, a indiqué sa position sur cette affaire, qui, selon lui, n’est pas sans conséquence sur les usagers. « On a une position par rapport au rachat d’institution bancaire surtout par d’autres pourvoyeurs de fonds internationaux, parce que ce ne sont pas des Sénégalais qui ont acheté la boite.
Ç’aurait été des Sénégalais, ça aurait pu être avantageux pour les usagers de banque ». Mais, regrette-t-il, « dès lors que c’est une autre entreprise qui vient racheter pour redresser, cela risque de coûter un peu cher aux usagers, parce que le redressement se fera sur le dos des usagers ». Il ajoute : « Sans nul doute, les taxes vont augmenter. C’est un redressement qui va impacter les finances des usagers. C’est vrai qu’il y aura une nouvelle injonction de fonds, mais aussi les services risquent de connaître des hausses au détriment des usagers ».
Famara Cissé qui n’a pas manqué de rappeler le but de leur combat, a ainsi indiqué : « Ce que nous dénonçons, c’est le coût des services, autrement dit, le coût de l’argent, de la location de l’argent, les pénalités, etc. Donc, si une entreprise étrangère ou une personne morale étrangère vient racheter la banque, elle va, dans le cadre du redressement, augmenter ses services ».
